What do you want us to write about next?

Over the years, we have come to really love and appreciate the customers we see on a regular basis. The one regret that we have is that we often must cut our conversations short to attend to the urgent needs of our other hungry customers. We know you guys understand this aspect of our relationship, but we really do wish we could talk more and make better notes on the wonderful feedback you offer on a regular basis. Our drive to engage you better has directly led to this blog, a rather ambitious undertaking for Peggy's Homemade Pizza. Our ultimate goal with this blog is to engage our beloved family of customers in a fun, and innovative way at all times. We do not always get the opportunity to give each one of you all the time and attention we would really like during a busy night. Oftentimes you give us amazing feedback on how we can better serve you or improve our business, and we greatly appreciate that! However, watching every request and how many people make a specific request is honestly quite difficult.

Let's face it, human memory is far from reliable! We want to give you guys the best service we can and we truly want to know what is most important to you! This is where we really hope this blog can work great for us. We can eliminate the memory issues by documenting your requests here, online, and then subsequently selecting the most important things we can change (within reason, of course). Your active feedback will be most important in making this a reality! Please let us know what you would like us to consider and write about in future posts.

For now, some future items we are tossing around and will be part of future blog posts and polls are:

Menu Items

Sandwiches

Muffulettas, BLTs, Eggplant Parmesan, Chicken Caesar, Turkey and Swiss, Super Veggie, etc.

New pizza combos

Taco or Mexican Pizza, Buffalo Chicken Pizza (which we can already make!), Margherita Pizza, and many more.

Calzones

Meat Pie Calzone

Desserts

Cookie Pizza, Cannoli’s, Brownie Pizzas, and so forth.

We would really like to hear what you think we should add (or subtract?) from the menu.

Keep in mind, we have a small kitchen and do not have a grill or frier. This means we cannot currently do things like steaks, fried foods, or certain daily specials to name a few things.

Hours

We hear the requests for us to be open for lunch, but as we have mentioned we currently do not want to put in 12 hour days, 6 days a week and we cannot offer a buffet due to food costs. Let's face it, no one wants to physically work 72 hours a week! Currently, we put in 6 days a week, 42 hours, which is not bad. However, there are alternatives that we can put forth to accommodate customer needs as well as Peggy's Staff needs for time off! Two of our favorite schedules tossed around include:

Closed Sunday

11am - 7pm Monday-Saturday (6 days a week, 48 hours)

or

Closed Monday & Sunday

11am - 8 pm Tuesday-Thursday (27 hours)

11 am-9 pm Friday & Saturday (20 hours)

Total: 5 days a week (47 hours)

Please note, we will continue to close on Sundays.

We like the second schedule of having two days off. We have a lot of reasons as to why we have not changed our hours in the last few years, but one of those reasons can be addressed with help from the community. That question is, would us opening earlier and closing earlier be a better fit for Natchitoches? We seem to think so, but we would love your feedback before making a final decision. Expect a future blog post on this topic!

As the title of this post suggests, we would really like to hear what you would like us to write about.

Please Chime in on what you all think we can change! If anything gets a lot of attention, we will consider it and post our feedback. If it is something we cannot do, we will give you our detailed reasoning as to why. If we can do it, we will let you know when it is available!
